Nice lightweight hiking pants
Bought them based on reviews. Nice lightweight pants for hiking. Ordered the light gray and they are nice but the lighter colour does tend to show that the fabric wrinkles quite a lot.

Light weight and durable
Hiked for 2 weeks in 60 degree weather in the Dolomites last month. I wore these everyday. They were lightweight so I never became over heated and they dried very quickly when washed. Zippers upped the look of the pants and were useful for phone, map and keys.

mostly waterproof
bought for a last minute trip to iceland. They definitely keep most water out, but I learned the hard way that they’re not quite water repellant enough. Overall lightweight and quick drying, but don’t use them in colder wet environments because it’ll cling and make you feel way colder

Well made, runs short
I like these, but even with me being short-waisted, these run short through the body. It makes them uncomfortable to wear, so I won’t get any use out of them.

Just received the item and wore it all day long. Super comfy and moves well. Will have to test out the water resistancy on a rainy day.Color and seize as described.

Absolutely love the fit
Approx 5’4′, 125lbs. Size: SI am shocked at how well these pants fit. They maneuver really well around the body. Very comfortable.I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a comfortable pair of pants regardless of hiking or not.

Good but….
These pants fit well. They are lightweight (like parachute pants) and are high waisted. I really liked them except I didn’t like the zipper color on the black pants. I thought it was black on black, but it is gray on black. This made them look more like commando-pants. If they were black on black I would purchase again. Had to return.

Great pants
I absolutely love these baleaf hiking pants. This is my second pair, the first is dark grey. They fit good, are comfortable, and airy. I’ve bought several baleaf sportswear and I love them all. I will definitely buy from them again before any other company.

Nice, but thin fabric
Amazon recommended one size, I bought 2 sizes larger and love the fit. I don’t like tight clothes. The fabric is silky. I think it’s going to work great for kayaking and everyday wear but I’d worry about rougher activities.

Runs small
Thankfully, I ordered these a few months back before I started wearing a L/12, as these are a perfect fit at an XL. Super lightweight. I do think the logo is a bit too large and would prefer it not be there at all

Check Your Measurements Against Chart
These pants are exactly what I enjoy wearing for errands and outdoor activities of hiking etc. They have zip close pockets and an elastic/drawstring waistband. These are fitted through the hip and thigh and wish they had slightly more room. They do move with your body so it doens’t feel restricting.Based on my purchases, Amazon suggested an XL would fit me best. I am so glad that I checked my measurements and went with an XXL. Even though I fit in the range for XXL based on their size chart, these were still fitted more than I prefer so I would say these run smaller than normal clothes I would purchase for myself.

I love these pants!
Let me start by saying that I am an avid and rabid REI customer. I do not mind paying a higher price for good gear. I have a couple pair of REI hiking pants but have never been happy with them. I tried these pants on a whim as they had good reviews. I am pear shaped (too many years of office work) with thick thighs and a smallish waist. These pants not only fit my waist, but also my thighs. They are lightweight, yet warm enough to not catch a chill. They also stretch so no worries about tearing a seam if you step over a tree stump or rocks while hiking. While filtering water from a spring at dusk on a recent trip to Georgia, I spilled water down one of my legs. The pants were completely dry within 10-15 minutes – again, no chance of catching a chill. The thigh pocket is large enough and convenient to hold a Samsun phone and trail map. I have bought six pair total, all different colors, and wear them around the house as well. The large fit nicely, but I opted for the extra-large so I can wear leggings under them when it gets really cold outside.

Nice cool material, but kind of light
I like these pants well enough but would prefer a zipper and snap rather than just elastic and tie. It has nice big pockets for hiking, but when I put my phone and keys in the pockets, the pants sag with the weight. Material seems cool. I didn’t hike with them yet but wore them a few times in the Florida heat. I got the 27″ inseam and that was a real plus. I’ll use these but not really the pockets. Amazon recommended I get a small, which I did, and they fit well.

Thin Fabric with Good Pockets
I’m normally a size 6 or 8 in pants. Based on reviews, I ordered a large. I didn’t want these to fit like skinny jeans, so the large was perfect. It made them not tight and not baggy. The pockets lay flat even when unzipped. The fabric was thinner than I was expecting, so I dropped a star. These aren’t year round pants. Also note that they say Baleaf on the front of the leg in reflective lettering. I’m not excited about that, but it’s not a total deal breaker. I ordered black and tan, and I’ll be returning the tan. I don’t need 2 pair of thin pants.

Durable, true to size
Light and comfy, true to size. I’m 5’7, 160lbs, and I got a medium. Fits me perfectly! I used it when I did the Angels landing hike. With all the big leaps and crawling that I did, I was surprised it didn’t tear. So I bought a second one, in different color.

Quality is good but fit is interesting
But I will say body lower half is hard to please! I have a big butt and this didn’t really fit well. I got 3x which is supposed to be a lot bigger than me but it’s so snug, same with hip. I’m an 18. They fit but I feel a little on display lol! The fit in general is cute. Material is a little thin.

Ended up returning due to odd fit but loved the material!
The material is so light and soft! I wish these had fit me properly, but sadly they did not. They fit in the rear well, but the front was a bit too roomy. If these had fit me a better, I would have purchased a couple more pairs for sure!

Surprisingly perfect fit!
These weather resistant pants live up to expectations! From first fitting on.Not only comfortable, but flattering even with plenty of room. I could have gone down a size but am keeping them for camping and casual wear.Love that the 4 roomy pockets don’t have a big flap over them, but a tasteful sturdy zipper instead. My cell even fits in the front one.Love these pants, seriously thinking of a second pair I really do not need. Just such a joy to receive a decent product at a decent price.

Soft, light, but opaque, noise free
Lots of zip pockets incl deep pocket for phone. Quick dry, so I don’t need to put in dryer. Material remains soft and pill/snag free. Have many colors. Great for travel as they take hardly any room and don’t wrinkle. No noise like other brands.

Lightweight and comfy
I work in wildlife and went hiking in these all summer. It got up to 95 degrees, and I was cool and comfortable in the woods with them. The lighter colors were easy to find ticks and I appreciate that the ankle has a drawstring for that reason. These are super comfortable to hike in, and durable enough. I probably pushed the pants to their limits hiking in brambles, but they did a good job of resisting, hardly tearing or threading at all. I would definitely buy these again if I need more, but they are lasting me so far!

Sooo comfortable!
I have bought a number of Baleaf products for their fit to size. They are always comfortable, move well, lightweight, and stay cool in hot weather. The only thing I don’t like about these pants is the length on the shorter size. I’m 5’4″ which, according to the product description should be acceptable, but I find them about 2″ too short. I still kept them as I wanted to wear them as soon as I got them.

Perfect Fit
These were comfortable to wear and kept me dry. Rain pants weren’t something I thought I would ever want or need but I am happy I ordered these. They are nice quality and for the price, I see fit. You can bring them in on the bottom and make them fit more like a jogger. Style wise, I like them too. They performed as expected.

Perfect hiking pants
I own 2 pair of these pants and love them. I hike 3 seasons of the year and the weight, fit, stretch, comfort in these pants couldn’t be better at twice the price. They wash fast, dry quickly w no shrinkage. They’ve gone to Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming with me. Pack down to nothing. Fit just loose enough for silk thermals underneath if needed. Pockets galore, forgiving waist, and ankle clinchers for different needs.Well made, and I recommend them to everyone.Love them

So far so good! But SIZE UP
First of all, if you are debating on size, SIZE UP! My suggested size was a large, and I am so glad I went with XL – the XL was even borderline too tight around the booty area (and I have a SUPER flat, almost non-existent butt!).After the first wear, I was pleasantly surprised! I wore them for a hike on a very hot day, and I fully expected to be drenched in sweat. After we had sat and rested a bit at the lake, I stood up and audibly gasped “WOW” – they were SO breathable I could literally feel air movement all around my legs. Honestly I was shocked As far as durability goes, I haven’t really had a good test yet, but there was slight discoloring/stretching when I put my phone in the smaller pocket, so I’m guessing they may rip easily if you take a tumble or run into a thorny plant. Also, someone commented that they didn’t make any noise – that’s just completely untrue. They are definitely much quieter than the awful low quality SWISH SWISH SWISH of the pants I wore in middle school gym – I wasn’t bothered by the sound at all – but you definitely won’t be sneaking up on anyone. All in all, I’d give them a 4.5/5 so far. Half a star off because the sizing is so off.

Lightweight, very comfortable
I purchased three pairs (Glacier Gray, black, suntan) for travel. They are pretty thin, but very comfortable and they don’t seem to wrinkle much, even when packed tightly for more than 24 hours. I like that they are pull-on, with a waistband that fits without being uncomfortably tight; they are loose-fitting without being baggy, and the zipper pockets are very handy for keeping my phone at the ready for taking pictures while traveling. Worked well for travel to hot/humid areas but also for cooler fall travel. While I purchased them specifically for travel (great on an overseas flight), I find myself wearing them all the time at home.

Lightweight and quick dry
They did what they were intended to do! Bought for a trip to Ireland and wore them in several Irish downpours – quickly dried each time. Not the warmest pant but great for summer or warmer spring/fall days. They do run a bit long (I’m 5’5) but I just tightened ankles to keep them shorter.

I will never buy other pants, I guess.
Honestly, this is the truth. We live on a sailboat. I bought these pants because they were recommended by some other sailing women, but I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into. We left the dock on a long trip on August 4 and it’s now Thanksgiving and I have worn these pants ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY since August 4, minus the few times I wore shorts. I have literally not worn another pair of pants. What do I like? Everything about them. Including that they are super easy to rinse out, hang over the lifelines, and then wear again the next day. I am headed home for the holidays and I will buy another pair. Should have bought a smaller size, but that’s on me. They are pretty true to size. I have the dark grey. It goes with everything.

Stylish, light and breezy
Bought these this summer and finally got to use them for a trip. They are really functional. I wore them for hiking and fashionable casual wear while in Cuba. Even at the height of the sun I never felt warm in them and they didn’t stick to me while I was sweating. Waistline was elastic and soft. Didn’t feel like it sat and dig into me. I enjoyed them so much, I just bought two additional pairs. The only critiques I have is for awareness because these things ultimately didn’t bother me. Got an XL and they fit comfortably but fitted not loose. They weren’t fitted like leggings so not snug fit just right kind. I could still squat, bend, and move in them freely with no constraints. I’m normally a 12 in jeans and pants and I have a tush and thick thighs. Not sure they would fit if I was a size up. Also, I have large calf muscles so rolling them up is not an option as the pant leg is more narrow than wide leg. Didn’t bother me because I needed the length to protect from mosquitoes and sun.

Great baggy pants for mountain biking
I’ve been on the search for more affordable pants to wear over my bibs while mountain biking, so I thought I would give these a try. They are thin enough to wear when it’s warmer out, but also provide some protection from the wind, rain and cold, although I wouldn’t rely on them for warmth. The elastic waistband with the drawstring is great- they didn’t feel like they were falling off while I was riding. Love the drawstrings around the ankles and all the pockets, too. I’ll probably end up owning these in all colors eventually.

BEST HIKING PANTS…. EVER!
These are THE most comfortable hiking pants I’ve ever owned. I purchased these last minute because I needed quick drying pants for a hike that has streams. They were delivered in two days and when I tried them on they were AMAZING! Comfortable, light weight, great navy color that goes with everything.I have a smaller waist and big thighs & calves and sometimes have to size up to get pants to “fit”. The label says it’s 3 way fabric and it is – it stretches when you sit on your haunches and lies flat with no folds when you stand up.I thought they might be a bit thin to hike Angels Landing in Zion early in the morning at 47 degrees but they kept the wind out and I stayed warm with a puffer jacket and when it heated up to 80 degrees later in the day I stayed cool. So versatile!I am 5ft 6” have shorter legs and a longer body so to be able to find these in “petite” was a bonus – no fabric scrunching over my shoes. Love that you can also pull the leg ties and make them into “capris”.Wish they would make the petite in more colors (burgundy/plum would be great – I did buy another make that had this color but the fit and fabric on these pants was far superior).Highly recommend these hiking/ walking pants and will purchase other colors.

Versatile and comfortable
I bought these after reading reviews while I was searching for waterproof hiking pants. I love these! Comfortable elastic and drawstring waist, drawstrings on bottom of legs to keep them snug over boots, 3 pockets with good depth, placement and zip close. Legs are roomy and not at all clingy, even when wet. I’m 5’7″ and weight 155 and large fits perfectly. Wash well and dry fast. Definitely going to buy more, nice color selection as well.

The BEST hiking pants
I don’t write reviews often, but I feel like I need to sing from hilltops how UTTERLY WONDERFUL THESE PANTS ARE!! I bought a pair for 3 weeks in Chile, where I explored big cities, the desert, and the Patagonia wilderness. I wore these babies on planes, overnight ferries, and along strenuous Hikes on sand dunes and mountains. I’m in love. Also, as a fat person, I need to sing these praises. The thighs fit. There is butt coverages. I feel unstoppable.Get these pants. Youll never want to take them off.

Perfect pants!
Okay so Amazon suggested I get an XL but I went with a L based on reviews. I am 5’0, 165lbs, and wear a 13 in juniors or 12 in womens. The large (petite) fit perfectly.I wore them for the first time today. This morning when I walked my son to school, it was 36F feels like 33. This afternoon when I picked him up it was 71F feels like 71. I was just as comfortable in the afternoon as I was in the morning. The cut is perfect. The length is perfect. The pockets are big enough for things to actually fit. The material is light and athletic but doesn’t make swishy noises. I have enough room that I could throw on some baselayer leggings or tights if I needed. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough colors in the petite. I might try a normal length though since I like them so much. These are worth it!

Got these pants and hit the trails. Just kidding. I was already hitting the trails a little bit but I did need some pants that I could go into the woods with that weren’t jeans and collecting the burrs and things. These are great, and they have all of the pockets that my dresses don’t have.
